The outer umbrella fabric has a high density of knitting and a large diameter, which effectively protects the shoulders and the backpack from getting wet. We use high quality fiberglass for the tips and ribs, which is strong and flexible whilst not being so heavy that you hand fatigues.The canopy uses 190T pongee micro-weave fabric. This silk derived material is lightweight and quick dry. The durable construction creates a vent during where wind can pass through, making the umbrella much easier to handle in harsh conditions.
